One foot on the cliffside, the ocean impossibly far below, the jungle pressing in from behind. The air smells of rain-soaked basalt, red clay earth, and the faint salt of the sea. Candle Care
- Trim your wick to ¼ inch before every burn
- On the first light, let the wax melt all the way to the edges — this sets the memory of the wax and prevents tunneling
- Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time
- Keep away from drafts, direct sunlight, children, and pets
- Retire the candle when ¼ inch of wax remains, then clean the vessel and give it a new life
